be you brunch
On Sunday, February 28, 2016, at The Loft at Castleberry Hill The Young Belle Project, Inc. partnered with The B Firm PR held the 2nd Annual Be-You Empowerment Brunch: Recreating a new you for a new future, hosted by Chere'. Women ages, 13 and beyond upheld the true purpose of the Be You Brunch which is to expose girls to the struggles and achievements of successful women. Allowing them the opportunity to listen, engage, and connect with the vision that they will be empowered.
After a delicious Buffet brunch prepared by Atlanta's own Paschal's Restaurant, Everyone listened to the journey's, struggles, obstacles, and achievements of our four amazing panelists:
Char Wilson owner of Charles Street Suites/Founder of Girls That Dream/ and lead stylist for VH1 Love and Hip Hop Atlanta
Jamie England owner of Kiwi Vintage & Green Home Market here in Atlanta, GA,
Kluermoi professional Make-up artist/educator
Niya Brown-Matthews 2x Cancer survivor/ Author/ motivational speaker.
Following the panel, guests engaged in a discussion and Q&A session, where questions were asked and testimonies from our attendees were given. Everyone gave a little piece of themselves in order to inspire someone else.
Guests continued the afternoon, with exclusive sounds by DJ Penny Lane, a dessert buffet loaded with sweets by Twisted Sweets, Kaylee's Cakepops, and Kelle's Kakes. While posing in the photo booth prepared by Say Cheese Atlanta.
This day marked the beginning of a new journey for all the women who were in attendance because not only did our panel inspire but each individual contributed their own piece creating a collaboration of empowerment.
