5th Annual

Be you brunch?

The 5th Annual Be You Empowerment Brunch is a free 1 day self development conference for young women experiencing homelessness, displacement, abandonment and other adversities.

The purpose of “Be You Brunch" is to expose young girls to the struggles and achievements of successful women. On Saturday, March 2, 2019 our girls got the opportunity to engage in several different empowerment workshops led by some of Atlanta's elite professionals

Dr. Kayla Lurry, PH.D   -  "Packing Your Goods"

Katiana Charnell - "Knits By Kat"

Diandra Anderson, LCSW - "Mindfulness & ME"

Milan Amani - Ways to make social media work for you

Diamond Cash - "Diamonds under pressure"

Ashley Thompson - "Girl Talk Chat"

Mz. B (Connecting The Lines) - "Movement With MzB"

The day was filled with good food and even better vibes, as we all brunched together thanks to our sponsors Chef Q Matisse and Nana's Chicken & Waffles. Along, with a sweet selection courtesy of Kelle's Kakes, Tipzy Berries and Cara Bella Delectable Delights.

We got the opportunity to not only instill valuable information in our girls but we were able to provide them with a safe space to development positive relationships and connect with our growing sisterhood. We laughed, dance and of coursed took a zillion pictures in the photo booth sponsored by Say Cheese Atlanta.

The day of course could not get any sweeter, but it did as we gifted every girl with a special swag bag sponsored by Miss Jessie's, The Lady Loves Couture, DND Promotions and Chick Fil A West Midtown.
