Tools For School "Supply Drive"
Throughout the Month of July & August Supporters from all over have donated backpacks and supplies for our 1st Annual "Tools 4 School" Drive to benefit The city of Refugee, A Transitional Shelter for Men, Women and children in Southwest Atlanta, GA. The City of Refugee provides hundreds of families with hope, thanks to the many donations we were able to sponsor 55 children in their return to school with a backpack filled with supplies, to be fully equipped to tackle their education.

Taste Of Mexico "Dinner With The Youth"

The Young Belle Project, Inc. & some generous Volunteers cooked a Mexican Fare at the Covenant House in Atlanta, GA where many young adults transition in from homelessness and out to stability. The Covenant House provides a safe haven for homeless teens, along with training and professional development. The Young Belle Project provided a menu of Yummy Soft and Hard Tacos, along with Sweet Corn Salsa, Homemade Mexican Rice & Beans, and Nachos. The atmosphere was definitely festive with great conversation, laughs, and empowerment. As the teens were greatly appreciative and Volunteers were even more grateful to be able to learn to appreciate life and the importance of serving those around us.
Party With A Purpose @ Spinning Pie
To promote philanthropy and community unification The Young Belle Project and Supporters gathered for an evening of Amazing Food and Drinks at The Spinning Pie Lounge on Peter's Street. The atmosphere was live, with all the newest music spinning and oldest friends mingling throughout the evening. Support was definitely evident by the many backpacks and supplies from party goers, that were dropped off throughout the evening to support "Tools 4 School" Supply Drive. Everyone made their presence known by networking and exchanging contacts. The mission of creating Positive relationships was a vision and sight to see that evening.

Save Your Soles "Campus Wide Shoe Drive"
The Young Belle Project & The Clark Atlanta University Residence Life Partnered to bring awareness to the need outside of the campus and right in the community that surrounds us. Pink Boxes were set up inside residental dorms to encourage students to donate their gently used shoes to those less fortunate then them. This month long drive will continue to be the first of many connecting the Campus with the Community, by being a blessing to others.
The Be-You Empowerment Brunch was developed to give young women the opportunity to be inspired and uplifted, by what I like to refer to as "The Real Role Models", which are women such as yourself who are working hard day in and day out, to acquire success for themselves, while making strides in their purpose. Everybody has their own story and struggle, and I want these young ladies to hear these stories and ask questions, so that they can envision success for themselves. I want them to experience a setting where women are empowering one another, instead of bringing each other down. I want them to realize that their futures are in their own hands, and their reality is only what they make of it.
We had an amazing panel, Mary Seats (CEO/Design of Cupcake Mafia), Jerrika Karlae (Swimsuit Designer), Samantha Moxey (Owner of Atl Beauty Bar), Tami Latrell (Celebrity Songwriter/Producer), and Alex Butler (Professional Make Up Artist). These extraordinary women shared their stories and secrets to overcoming obstacles and barriers in life, managing social and personal goals, along with being a women of change in the world we live in.
We were on a mission to Inspire, Uplift, & Empower Young Women and with over 70 people in attendance, and the amazing and overwhelming feedback from our guests, we are sure it was accomplished.

Ross, Inc. & Young Belle Project
Fall Shopping Spree
Ross Dress For Less & The Young Belle Project, Inc. Partnered together to provide a Fall Shopping Spree to a deserving young lady who has worked hard to overcome adversity in her life. This inspiring young lady walked out with a new Fall wardrobe to continue on her journey to improving her life. We aim to reward our youth when the are trying and being dedicated because we understand how hard it is when you are dealing with alot of environmental stressors. We were so happy to be a blessing, and it was great to hear her say "I am so thankful, I will be wearing a smile for the rest of the week".
